1. HER BEING – Genesis 2:18-24

a. vs. 18 – Help Meet – one who helps
b. vs. 23 – bone of my bones - substance, selfsame
c. vs. 24 – one flesh – one in number

The wife was created to be “one who helps” her husband. Are you a helpful part of the “oneness” or are you a hindrance to the “oneness” with your husband?

2. HER WORKS – Proverbs 31:11-12

a. vs. 11 – the heart of her husband doth safely trust in her heart – mind, will, emotions
b. vs. 12 – she will do him good…all the days of her life
c. vs. 12 – not evil…all the days of her life

Are your works filled with goodness and result in your husband’s trust
in you or would your husband call your works evil? How can you
improve in this area?

3. HER SPEECH – Proverbs 31:26

a. she openeth her mouth with wisdom – (knowledge with grace)
b. in her tongue is the law of kindness – (mercy, loving-kindness)
   Colossians 4:6, lst Peter 4:11

Would your husband say that you speak to him with loving kindness
and the wisdom of God or your speech angers him?

4. HER ATTITUDE – Ephesians 5:22

a. wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands submit – to arrange under, obey, to yield to another
b. …as unto the LORD – (owner, master)

Does your husband see your submissive attitude and know that he is
the head of the household? Is your submissive spirit the same with
your husband as it is with the LORD?

5. HER LIFESTYLE – lst Peter 3:1-6

a. vs. 1 – be in subjection – to arrange under, obey, to yield to
b. vs. 1 – be won by the conversation of the wives – (manner of life,
conduct, behavior, lifestyle)
c. vs. 2 – chaste conversation – exciting reverence, pure, sacred,
modest, clean
d. vs. 4. – hidden man of the heart – meek and quiet spirit

meek – gentleness of spirit, strength under control,
a work of the Holy Spirit

quiet – peaceable, tranquil

In the sight of God of GREAT PRICE – precious, very costly

Is your lifestyle holy enough to impress your husband whether or not he is born again in the spirit? Are you growing in the meek and quiet spirit?

6. HER CONDUCT – Matthew 7:12

a. all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye
even so to them. THE GOLDEN RULE !!!

When you do something for yourself, do you take the time to do the same thing for your husband? Do you do it first for your husband?

7. HER INTIMACY – lst Corinthians 7:1-5

a. vs. 3 – likewise also the wife unto the husband
b. vs. 4 – power of his own body, but the wife
c. vs. 5 – defraud ye not one the other

Are you always aware and become the “help meet” in the area of
becoming one in spirit, soul and body in sexual intimacy with your
husband? How do you put self aside and be a “help meet” not a
“tension builder” in sexual intimacy?

8. HER RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD – Proverbs 31:27-30

a. vs. 27 – she looketh well to the ways of her household
b. vs. 28 – her children and husband praises her
c. vs. 30 – a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised

 

Does your love relationship with the LORD show with the praises of your husband?
